Shades of Color Fall Scrapbook Retreat

Nothing like a little time away with your girlfriends. Even better, your girlfriends and you have something extra special in common. PICTURES and the love to cherish and preserve them. We set the wheels in motion and checked into Springhill Suites Marriott in Hagerstown, MD. Chante, Shanel and myself are still trying to figure out why we rented a room. We spent a total of 10.5 hrs in that room in 2 days. LOL!!! It was suggested to use sleeping bags in the crop space next year. In the end though, we all had something accomplished. Our star scrapper award goes to newbie semi-scrapper Chante. She completed 2.5 8X8 (I'm giving you 1/2 credit for the middle child) books and managed to get well over 250 pictures into a photo album. Next up is newbie Ronale, who has been bitten by the scrapbug. Check out our newbies below.

This is what happens when you've been up for hours with little sleep. Ribbon starts growing out of your head.

Most of us stayed up well ove 12 hrs both nights. We had a wonderful weekend and I look forward to us doing it again, October 2010.
